Suzhou KSG defeated Jinan RW Xia 3-0, winning the match.

On the first day of the second week of the first round of the 2026 KPL Summer Split regular season, the Spring Split champions Suzhou KSG faced off against Jinan RW Xia. This match was a crucial battle for points and was highly anticipated beforehand, but the game unfolded almost one-sidedly. Suzhou KSG relied on their excellent teamwork and superior operational rhythm to sweep their opponents 3-0, maintaining their hot streak.  

In the first game, Suzhou KSG demonstrated strong control of the jungle. Although RW Xia strengthened their roster during the off-season, their formation repeatedly faltered when facing Suzhou KSG's mature system and playstyle. Suzhou KSG opened up the game with early skirmishes and quickly established an economic advantage. In the mid-to-late game, they snowballed their lead through stable macro play, ultimately easily pushing down all three lanes of high ground and taking the first game.  

The second game became a personal showcase for Suzhou KSG's top laner, Wuyan. Playing Darmo, he decisively initiated team fights in the jungle multiple times, flashing in to change the course of the battle. His actions not only instantly crushed the opponent's backline but also disrupted RW Xia's overall rhythm. Thanks to this outstanding performance, Suzhou KSG won another game, taking the lead in the match and earning Wuyan the MVP award.  

Holding three match points, Suzhou KSG played with considerable composure in the third game. Wuyan brought out his signature Ma Chao, constantly weaving and cutting through the battlefield, relentlessly tearing apart RW Xia's defense. Although RW Xia tenaciously defended and sought opportunities in dire straits, Suzhou KSG's strategy was virtually flawless. In the final decisive team fight, Suzhou KSG executed perfect teamwork, wiping out RW Xia and pushing down their crystal to end the game 3-0.  

Throughout the match, Suzhou KSG demonstrated the overall strength of a top-tier team. The entire team was in top form, handling the early game tempo and mid-to-late game team fights very smoothly. In particular, Wuyan won MVP in the second and third games, becoming a key contributor to the team's victory. This 3-0 sweep not only solidified their points advantage but also signaled their continued push for the championship.  

In contrast, Jinan RW Xia's loss exposed issues with the new roster's cohesion and in-game adjustments. Although they attempted to improve their strength through new signings, their overall teamwork and decision-making proved unstable and inconsistent against Suzhou KSG's high-pressure tactics. RW Xia stated after the match that they would thoroughly review the game and adjust their strategy. With the regular season entering a crucial phase, the future performances of both teams remain to be seen.
