This is great news for free-to-play players; the choice isn't difficult. Now it's clear why expert players emphasize accumulating fragments—the developers intentionally accelerated item consumption. Core element: Water flow paired with runes

The Golden Cicada Epic skin is hard to come by, but the advantage is that you don't have to rush to exchange for it. The Black and Gray Tang Monk skin, just based on the color scheme, disregarding all other factors, let's talk about the passive effect first. When mana is full, runes are summoned to wrap around the body, blocking one hard control. Don't be distracted by the color scheme. In addition to runes, the core element is water. The previous Tang Monk skin's first skill was clearly an optimized headband. The new skin turns the water into a hat, throws it at the target, locks onto the head, and splashes water all over the body after hitting. After dripping onto the ground, it becomes a water area, and then rune chains begin to appear, imprisoning the enemy and restricting their movement. Even the mark on the head has a chain entanglement effect. Undeniably, this design is indeed very creative. It loses some of the nostalgia but gains a sense of novelty.

Epic items exceeding the standard, 88 fragments are worth the price.

The second skill's water flow condenses into a staff over time, causing water spheres around enemies to explode one by one. Then, golden runes flash and shrink. After the incantation is completed, a towering ancient tree rises from the ground in the core area and strikes the enemy. The skill effect is unexpected. No one thought it could be designed like this. As a free product, the quality is up to standard, comparable to paid epics. The ultimate skill directly condenses mana into a large bell and throws it forward, like a wave of tide rushing in. Enemies retreat in response.

Online reactions were mostly positive, with many finding the new look much better than the original skin and Tang Sanzang. While selling nostalgia isn't inherently bad, it's a bit boring. However, the combination of the three skills does create a visually stunning effect.
