FaZe reorganized their CS2 team, and broky has once again become a substitute.

FaZe Clan, a well-known esports club, has officially announced that broky, the Latvian main sniper (AWPer) of the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team, has been removed from the starting roster.

This marks the second time in the player's career that he has faced demotion. The club's move aims to regroup the team and fully prepare for the remaining competitions in the second half of 2026.

As a veteran player for the team, broky has been with FaZe since September 2019. Prior to that, he had a brief three-month substitute period from May to July 2025.

After returning to the starting lineup, broky initially showed good momentum after the adjustment, but his competitive performance quickly declined, returning to a slump. Statistics show that his average technical score during his second stint as a starter was only 1.02, and the team's overall performance also declined along with his individual statistics.

After failing to qualify for the 2026 IEM Cologne Major, the team's morale and performance plummeted. Given this predicament, management ultimately decided to strip him of his starting position again, and it is widely predicted that he will have little chance of returning to the competitive scene.

FaZe subsequently announced the roster change on social media and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Latvian player. Currently, there are reports that FaZe is targeting Spanish sniper MartinezSa, who currently plays for Gentle Mates.
