Ukrainian e-sports powerhouse NAVI announced on its official website on Thursday that they have parted ways with its Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team's rifler jL.
According to NAVI's official statement, jL's efforts and contributions to the team cannot be underestimated, and his achievements have cemented his legendary and indelible place in the team's history. Despite the end of their partnership, the club is very grateful for his powerful influence and talent and wishes jL all the best for the future.
With this announcement, jL's three-year tenure with NAVI comes to an end.
It's worth menrioning that jL had been playing on-loan at MOUZ for the past two months.
Earlier this year, he also played as a stand-in for Liquid and participated in the Roman Imperium.
When news of his return from his loan spell was released, MOUZ wished jL well with the message "Goodbye for now", which sparked speculation about a possible permanent transfer to the German Counter Strike 2 (CS2) powerhouse.
While playing for MOUZ, jL achieved an average rating of 1.04, even playing unfamiliar positions including flex, yet he still managed to win two bronze medals with the team.
The 26-year-old jL previously played for Figure05, TimeChasers, zdarova, AllTheRage, AllStarLineup, Elites, Baclerbi, MAD LIONS, and Apeks, winning REPUBLEAGUE Season 3.
jL joined NAVI in the summer of 2023.
After winning the Major MVP and four major trophies in 2024, jL ranked fifth on HLTV's Top 20 Players of the Year list and was named Best Clutch Finisher of the Year. However, in 2025, his performance declined, and in July, due to mental health issues, he voluntarily chose to temporarily take a break from competitive play.
