Oliver Glasner has officially taken over as head coach of Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest have officially announced the appointment of Oliver Glasner as their new head coach. The highly regarded Austrian manager has a long career in top European football, renowned for his ability to develop young players, build aggressive tactical systems, and lead teams to outstanding results. He is considered one of the most capable and promising managers in European football.  

Oliver Glasner's outstanding coaching ability, distinctive tactical philosophy, and relentless pursuit of victory made him a key figure in Nottingham Forest's rise to a new era. Before joining the team, he had already become only the third manager in European football history to win both the Europa League and the UEFA Cup. With a string of accolades in European competitions and domestic English football, Oliver Glasner has demonstrated his ability to lead teams to championship titles and build competitive squads.  

During his time managing VfL Wolfsburg, Oliver Glasner led the team to Champions League qualification. He then moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he guided them to the Europa League title in the 2021/22 season, bringing the club their first major European trophy in over forty years. During his time coaching in Germany, his teams were widely recognized for their high-intensity play, tight tactical systems, and aggressive attacking style.  

Oliver Glasner has recently established himself in English football. In his first full season in charge of the Premier League, he led his team to win the 2024/25 FA Cup, followed by the Community Shield, and then the UEFA Cup title in the following season.
