Former Chelsea manager Rossenier has officially joined Paris FC on a two-year contract.

Paris FC officially announced on Tuesday that 41-year-old Liam Rossenier has been appointed as the first-team manager. He will take over the reins from Antoine Kombouare, with a contract running until June 30, 2028.

This move to take over Paris FC also marks Rosseneni's return to football after a two-month hiatus. He was sacked by Chelsea in April due to poor performance.

Rossellini previously managed Derby County, Hull City, and Strasbourg, accumulating a record of 66 wins, 44 draws, and 43 losses. Since taking over from Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge in January, he has led Chelsea to 11 wins, 2 draws, and 10 losses, placing them eighth in the Premier League with 48 points (13 wins, 9 draws, 12 losses).

Regarding the signing, Paris FC sporting director Marco Nepe explained: "Liam Rossenier possesses all the qualities we are looking for. He is a modern and demanding coach, known for developing individual player abilities and improving the overall level of the team."

“Besides his tactical acumen, we were particularly impressed by his management skills and ability to unite the team around a clear vision. I firmly believe he has all the qualities to succeed at Paris FC and wish him all the best in this new chapter of his career.”

As one of the owners of Paris FC, Antoine Arnault added: “My family and I warmly welcome Liam’s arrival and return to Ligue 1. I have always admired his coaching philosophy and the achievements of his teams—usually composed of young players. He will work closely with our sporting director, Marco Nepe, to build the first team that we will be training with again in a few days.”
