Olmo: We treat every match like a final.

Another quarter-final match will take place in the 2026 World Cup, with Spain, considered a favorite, traveling to the SoFi Stadium to challenge Belgium. Olmo, who plays for Barcelona, stated that he and his teammates treat every match like a final and aim to continue winning.

In the round of 16, Spain defeated Portugal 1-0 after Ferran Torres assisted Merino's goal, thus advancing to the final.

Spanish striker Olmo said, "Belgium has proven that they have one of the best goalkeepers in the world, perhaps even the best. They came back from behind in the last round and have players who can change the course of a game, so we must be careful."

Rudy Garcia's Belgium team gained confidence after defeating the host nation, the United States, 4-1 in their previous match.

Olmo said, "We are now focused entirely on the match against Belgium and are not thinking about anything else. This is the World Cup quarterfinals, and if we can advance to the semifinals, we will face another very strong team."

It is worth mentioning that Spain has kept a clean sheet in all World Cups this season, and its unbeaten record in all competitions has reached 35 games.

Olmo stated, "We will treat every game as a final. The coach has always told us that the most important game is always the next one. A 35-game unbeaten run is not a goal we deliberately set, but our goal is to win every game."
