RB Leipzig has confirmed that it has reached an agreement with Brighton regarding the extension of Brajan Gruda's loan.

RB Leipzig have officially confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to extend the loan of Blajan Grouda. The attacking midfielder will continue to play for Leipzig in the 2026/27 season. Grouda, 22, joined the club on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion in February 2026. Since joining, he has made 14 appearances for Leipzig, contributing 3 goals and 3 assists.

Since joining us, he has demonstrated outstanding individual ability in a short period of time and has proven that his technical characteristics are very much in line with our tactical philosophy and match requirements."

Brajan Gruda made his debut for RB Leipzig on February 8, 2026, in an away match against Cologne, which the team won 2-1. Just one week later, he made his home debut at the Red Bull Arena, providing an assist and scoring a goal to help Leipzig draw 2-2 with Wolfsburg at home.

In the subsequent match against Hoffenheim at RB Leipzig's home ground, Brajan Gruda once again displayed excellent form, helping his team to a resounding 5-0 victory. In this game, he achieved his first ever two goals in a single match for RB Leipzig, while also contributing an assist. To date, the German U21 international has made 90 official appearances for the first teams of Mainz, Brighton, and RB Leipzig, accumulating 11 goals and 14 assists.
