Mongolian Counter Strike 2 e-sports powerhouse The MongolZ announced on Monday via their official Telegram account that their rifler, cobrazera, has been relegated to the bench.
According to The MongolZ's official statement, cobrazera's position will be filled by 17-year-old prodigy tikuak.
Meanwhile, The MongolZ also announced that their academy team's entry fragger, DarkMeister, will be promoted to the main roster.
He will fill the vacancy left by rifler mzinho's move to BC.Game.
cobrazera only joined The MongolZ from The Huns in January of this year.
However, this promising 20-year-old has unfortunately failed to lead his team to victory. In the past six months, aside from a third-place finish at the PGL Bucharest, cobrazera and his teammates have consistently lost in the playoff stages.
In June, The MongolZ was eliminated in Stage 3 of the group stage at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne Major, losing to 9z.
Despite this, cobrazera's individual performance was actually quite impressive. Over the past three months, he completed 24 maps, averaging a 2.0 rating.
tikuak, who has recently become Asia's brightest new star with his outstanding performances, achieved a 1.15 rating while playing for Chinggis Warriors over the past eight months.
He also helped the team win MESA League Season 5 and the extremeSLAND Asia Open.
Recently, in a match against the formidable TYLOO, although Chinggis Warriors ultimately lost, tikuak still managed a 1.2 rating, the highest average rating on the team.
Following these changes, The MongolZ's current roster is:
In-Game Leader: bLitz
AWP-er: 910
Rifler: Techno4K
Rifler: tikuak
Entry Fragger: DarkMeister
Coach: maaRaa
