The 2026 World Cup will feature another semi-final, with England's "Three Lions" facing defending champions Argentina for a place in the final. Tuchel stated that Messi always manages to create scoring opportunities, no matter the difficult situation he faces on the field.

When asked about facing Messi on the field, England manager Thomas Tuchel said, "I did think about whether to use traditional man-marking to mark Messi.
