Le Mans completes contract extension with right wing-back Lucas Buadés..

Le Mans announced on their official website on Wednesday that they have extended the contract of their right wing-back, Lucas Buadés

According to Le Mans' official statement, Buadés has signed on a new short-term two-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2028.

About Lucas Buadés

The 28-year-old Buadés was born on December 28, 1997, in Muret, France. He is 1.81 meters tall and primarily plays as a right wing-back, but can also play as a left wing-back, right midfielder, or left midfielder. He has Spanish Catalan ancestry.

Buadés joined Muret's youth academy at the age of 7 and Nîmes' youth academy at 16. He began playing for Nîmes' reserve team in 2016 and completed his Nîmes first-team debut by coming on as a substitute the following August.

In the summer of 2021, Buadés moved to Rodez on a free transfer.

During his time at Rodez, Buadés suffered a concussion after being attacked by opposing fans who invaded the pitch during the final match of the 2022/23 Ligue 2 season.

In August 2024, Buadés moved to Valenciennes for €20,000.

The following summer, he moved to Le Mans for €50,000.

Last season, Buadés made 30 appearances for the newly promoted Ligue 1 side in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 assists.
