Cagliari announced on their official website on Thursday that they have signed England international defensive midfielder Harry Winks from Leicester City.

According to the Serie A club's official statement, Winks has signed on a short-term two-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2028.

About Harry Winks

The 30-year-old Harry Winks was born on February 2, 1996, in Hemel Hempstead, England. He is 1.78 meters tall and plays as a defensive midfielder.

Winks joined Tottenham Hotspur's youth academy at the age of six and completed his Tottenham Hotspur first-team debut in November 2014 by coming on as a substitute in a UEFA Europa League match.

During his nine-year spell at Spurs, Winks helped the Premier League giants reach one UEFA Champions League final and one League Cup final.

In July 2023, Winks moved to Leicester City for £10 million.

During his three-year spell with the Foxes, Winks made 109 appearances for the EFL League One club in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists, and helped the team win one EFL Championship title.
