Grady McDonald: I will learn from my experienced teammates and continue to grow through daily training and games.

Nottingham Forest's young midfielder Grady McDonald made his first-team debut in the team's 2-0 preseason victory over Notts County. After the match, the 18-year-old Canadian said the appearance was a special moment for himself and his family, and he hopes to continue improving and making further progress for the team.  

Grady McDonald, who joined Nottingham Forest this summer, made his debut for the team in a pre-season friendly against Notts County. The young midfielder came on as a substitute in the second half, making his first appearance for the Forest first team. He showed good adaptability to the senior level of competition, maintaining a stable performance in midfield and contributing positively to the team's pre-season squad assessment.  

Grady McDonald, who joined Nottingham Forest this summer, made his Liverpool debut as a substitute in the second half of this pre-season friendly against Notts County. Despite it being his first time playing against the first team, he showed consistency in midfield, helping the team complete an important test during the pre-season preparations.  

Speaking about his first-team debut, Grady McDonald expressed his excitement, saying, "It's an indescribable feeling, like a dream finally coming true. I think I played pretty well in the game, and I'm still thinking about it a lot. But without a doubt, it's an important moment for me and my family, and a very special achievement."  

“I hope to have more opportunities like this in the future. So far, everything has been wonderful. Next, I will learn as much as possible from the excellent players around me, absorb their experience, and continuously improve my abilities so that I can gradually grow into a better player.”  

The young midfielder also spoke about his future goals, stating that he hopes to demonstrate his value in the team's competition through hard work. Grady McDonald said, "Of course, I hope to show the coaching staff my abilities and make a positive impression. I think this is a very valuable opportunity in my career, and I will take every chance to play seriously and do my best to prove myself."  

“I think the team performed exceptionally well overall. This was our first game back after regrouping, and everyone showed great form. In terms of tactical execution, everyone also did a very good job. Moving forward, I look forward to continuing to learn from the outstanding players on the team and constantly improving myself in training and matches.”  

As preparations for the new season continue, Grady McDonald will continue to improve himself through training, strive for more playing opportunities, and work toward establishing himself in Nottingham Forest's first team.
