Morgan Rodgers joins Chelsea on a long-term contract.

Premier League giants Chelsea have announced the official signing of England midfielder Morgan Rodgers.

The 23-year-old Morgan Rodgers previously played for Aston Villa, contributing 10 goals and 7 assists for Unai Emery's team in the 2025/26 Premier League season, and also helping Aston Villa win the Europa League title with 3 goals that season.

In addition, in the earlier 2026 World Cup, Morgan Rogers and his teammates fought their way through the competition and ultimately won the bronze medal.

In an interview, Morgan Rodgers said, "I'm really excited. For me, Chelsea is the biggest club in London and a team I've admired since I was a child."
