Sevilla striker Alco Adams has officially joined Venezia on a four-year contract.

Serie A newcomers Venezia announced on Wednesday that Nigerian striker Acoly Adams has transferred from Sevilla to join the team. The two sides signed a four-year contract, valid until June 30, 2030.

Other reports suggest that Adams' transfer fee was approximately €16 million plus €7 million in add-ons. His contract with Sevilla was originally set to expire in 2027.

The 26-year-old Adams grew up in Nigeria's Jaba youth academy and made his professional debut for Sogndal in the Norwegian First Division on August 28, 2018. He then played for Lillestrøm and Montpellier before being signed by Sevilla for €5.5 million in January 2025.

To date, Adams has made 37 appearances for Sevilla, contributing 10 goals and 4 assists. He also received his first call-up to the Nigerian national team in October 2025 and participated in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco that year.

After completing the transfer, Adams said: "I chose to join Venezia because I saw the projects the club was developing. I hope to contribute my part and participate in writing a new chapter in the club's history."
