LeBron James has officially begun a new chapter in his career. The Philadelphia 76ers announced that the NBA's all-time leading scorer has signed a two-year, $8 million veteran minimum contract with the team.

After considering retirement, James, who will soon turn 42, chose to reverse his previous decision and return to the court to embark on his "last" championship run.

The 76ers warmly welcomed the four-time NBA MVP by displaying lockers emblazoned with the number "23" and a crown logo. Team president Gansey stated that James' profound impact on the organization is immeasurable.

As a legendary superstar selected to the All-Star team 22 times, James still managed to contribute outstanding statistics last season, averaging 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.

LeBron James has led three different teams to NBA championships and won Finals MVP awards, and broke Cleveland's 56-year championship drought in 2016. Now, he will challenge the 76ers, who haven't won a title since 1983, to turn things around.

"I believe I can help the 76ers become a championship team, and I'm very excited to start this new journey," James said on social media. Early Monday morning, he posted a video of his 4:12 AM practice, demonstrating his determination to win the title. The addition of this legendary veteran has undoubtedly made Philadelphia the most watched team in the new season.
