Dumfries completed his first training session with Real Madrid and said he felt incredibly proud and honored.

Dutch international Denzel Dumfries recently completed his first training session since joining Real Madrid and shared his excitement about wearing the white jersey for the first time in an interview with Real Madrid TV.

Speaking to the media, Dumfries expressed his amazement and joy at the new environment: "I felt fantastic after my first training session. The facilities here are enormous, and it's easy to get lost, but thankfully everyone was patient in helping me get familiar with everything. I feel incredibly proud and honored to be here."

Although some teammates have not yet returned due to their post-World Cup break, Dumfries said he has quickly integrated into the team: "Both my teammates who have returned, as well as the head coach and coaching staff, have given me a very warm welcome. We have a great team, and it's fantastic to work with them and learn from them."

Speaking about the upcoming preseason preparations, the Dutch full-back displayed an extremely positive attitude. He revealed that he is working hard to learn Spanish and emphasized: "The preseason is a crucial period for laying a solid foundation for the entire season. Everyone needs to work together and train hard, which is the most important task at present."

At the end of the interview, Dumfries expressed his determination to Real Madrid fans: "It is the greatest honor to play for Real Madrid. Rest assured, we will fight to achieve our goals for the new season and make all the fans proud with our performance!"
