FURIA's jungler Tatu has been suspended and fined by CBLOL.

On the first day of the second stage of the League of Legends Brazil Professional League (CBLOL), Team FURIA lost to LOS in their series.

However, what was worse for FURIA than losing the game was that their 20-year-old jungler, Tatu, communicated with outsiders through the in-game chat during the BP (ban/pick) phase of the match.

This behavior quickly drew official punishment. Riot Games issued an official statement saying that Tatu's actions seriously violated the rules of the game and Riot Games' global esports code of conduct.

As a result, Tatu has been suspended for one match, meaning he will be unable to participate in the FURIA vs. Vivo Keyd Stars match on August 1st. In addition to the suspension, Tatu has also been fined 10,000 Brazilian Reais (approximately US$1,900).

In consideration of the team's participation needs, CBLOL officially confirmed in a statement that it has urgently approved FURIA's registration of a substitute player. FURIA must submit the replacement roster to Riot Games within a specified time.

Following the incident, Tatu and his teammates responded. Mid-laner Tutsz acknowledged the seriousness of the situation on social media, but stated it was due to team negligence. Tatu also later admitted to the violation, saying his behavior was very immature and regrettable.

Tatu also revealed that the team's 31-year-old assistant coach, Luuukz, is likely to replace him. Luuukz previously served as the jungler for the youth team in 2022, leading them to the finals, and has extensive competitive experience. Tatu stated that he will fully assist Luuukz in his preparations during his suspension and plans to officially return in the third week's match against LOUD.
