A rundown of the Brooklyn Nets' top five all-time leading scorers

Throughout the Brooklyn Nets' long history, numerous legendary players have etched their names in the franchise's annals with countless spectacular scoring performances. Below is a list of the top five scorers in Nets franchise history.

At the top of the list is center Brook Lopez, who leads the team's scoring history with 10,444 points. Lopez played for the team for nine seasons after being drafted in 2008. He not only has solid low-post skills, but also developed a three-point shot later in his career, making him the team's most consistent interior core.

Following closely behind is Buck Williams, who comes in second with a narrow margin of 10,440 points. As the team's core power forward in the 1980s, Williams became a "double-double machine" with his tenacious style, winning Rookie of the Year and being selected to the All-Star team three times during his time with the team.

Third on the list is legendary dunker Vince Carter, with 8,834 points. Since joining the team in 2004, Carter has led the team to the playoffs multiple times with his spectacular dunks and game-winning shots, making him one of the most explosive scorers in team history.

Richard Jefferson ranks fourth with 8,507 points. As a highly athletic and versatile forward, Jefferson shone in the transition offense of the early 21st century and was a key contributor to the team's consecutive NBA Finals appearances in 2002 and 2003.

Fifth on the list is all-time great point guard Jason Kidd, who contributed 7,373 points. Kidd led the Nets to their peak after joining the team in 2001. Although he was known for his playmaking and passing, his all-around output on both ends of the court and his clutch scoring were also the absolute engine that propelled the team to the NBA Finals for two consecutive years.
