Remy Matthews: I think every player played exceptionally well, which reflects the team's overall chemistry and cooperation.

In the second Como Cup match, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Rémy Matheus became the key figure in the team's victory. After losing the first match to Lens, Crystal Palace faced Portuguese side Famalicão in the second game. The two sides remained deadlocked after 90 minutes, leading to a penalty shootout. Ultimately, Crystal Palace prevailed thanks to a more consistent performance.  

Throughout the match, Rémy Matthews made numerous crucial saves, repeatedly thwarting threatening attacks and protecting Crystal Palace's goal. In the penalty shootout, the goalkeeper once again stepped up, successfully saving Finn van Bree's penalty and ultimately helping his team win the game.  

In a post-match interview with Crystal Palace, Rémy Matthews said with a smile: "To be honest, I almost forgot there was a penalty shootout after the game. When you actually stand in front of the penalty spot, it feels really great. I'm happy the team finally won, and I think everyone did a fantastic job defensively today. We've only finished two weeks of preseason training, and the most important thing now is to continue improving our physical condition and carry this momentum into the new season."  

In this match, the defense in front of Rémy Matthews consisted of a group of young players. Facing the more experienced Famalicão, they still displayed a mature defensive performance. Speaking about his teammates' performance, Rémy Matthews said, "They really did a fantastic job today. After watching our first game, they could have felt pressure or worry because of the team's loss, but they adjusted very well."  

"However, I think every player on the defensive line performed exceptionally well, which is a testament to teamwork. Everyone worked together on the field, and through unity and fighting spirit, we won this game and ultimately secured an important victory."
