Luton Town has officially announced the signing of Callum Marshall on a long-term contract.

Luton Town have officially announced the signing of Callum Marshall. The 21-year-old Northern Irish striker has joined from West Ham United on a long-term contract, with the transfer fee yet to be disclosed. Marshall previously joined West Ham as an apprentice when the club was still playing in the Premier League. Now, he will reunite with his former FA Youth Cup-winning teammate Gideon Codua at Knifellworth Stadium.  

Callum Marshall won the FA Youth Cup with West Ham United U18 in the 2022/23 season. In that final, he and Gideon Codua both scored to help the team defeat Jack Wilshere's Arsenal U18 and lift this important honor in youth football.  

Callum Marshall subsequently joined West Bromwich Albion on loan to gain experience, and made significant progress in his career during his loan spell at Huddersfield Town in the 2024/25 season. That season, he contributed 10 goals in all competitions, earning the club's Player of the Year award for his outstanding performance.  

In the second half of last season, Callum Marshall played in the German league on loan to Bundesliga side Bochum. There, he made 6 starts and 10 substitute appearances, contributing 2 goals. Now, the Belfast-born Northern Irish striker has officially joined Luton Town, beginning a new chapter in his career.  

Speaking about Callum Marshall's signing, Luton Town manager Jack Wilshere said: "When I first spoke with Callum Marshall, I sensed his desire for success. Of course, there were many teams interested in him, so we are very pleased that he ultimately chose to join Luton. We wanted to be a club that could help him achieve his goals, and his career aspirations align perfectly with our development direction."

He has some of the best qualities of a traditional center forward: he is willing to engage in physical battles, willing to contribute to the team, and able to execute high pressing. At that time, the team was arguably one of the best youth teams in England, and they eventually won the FA Youth Cup. Now, after several loan spells, he has accumulated valuable match experience.”

Callum Marshall said after completing the signing: "I am very happy to be here in Luton Town. I think the club is in a positive phase and has a great future. I had several conversations with Jack Wilshere and the coaching staff, and they made me feel that the team values me and that this is the place for me to develop."
