Ancelotti believes that the timing of Brazil's hydration break had an impact after Brazil was eliminated from the World Cup by Norway.

In a recent interview, Brazilian coach Carlo Ancelotti discussed the Samba Army's elimination in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, suggesting that the players' decision to hydrate during a break affected the course of the game.

In the match against Norway, Manchester City star Erling Haaland scored twice against Brazil in the second half, while Neymar converted a penalty in the final stages of the second half.
