Vincent Amazon renews contract with Nike, will launch personal signature shoe series

August 1st - According to ESPN, sources revealed that San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wahlbanama has signed a long-term contract extension with Nike and will launch his first Nike signature shoe. Details of the contract have not yet been released, but sources indicate it is a long-term partnership.

Wahlgren's contract with Nike was originally set to expire this October, and this extension comes just weeks after he signed a five-year, $252 million maximum rookie contract with the Spurs. In addition to Nike, Wahlgren has also been a brand ambassador for the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton since 2024.

In the 2025-26 season, 22-year-old Viktor Wernbarman had the best performance of his career, playing 64 games and averaging 25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 3.08 blocks, and 1.03 steals per game.
