Iraola hopes Liverpool can get closer to their ideal form as the preseason progresses.

Liverpool, currently training in the United States, will travel to Soldier Stadium to face Leeds United in another friendly match. Furthermore, when discussing the coaching staff, Andoni Iraola said, "Tommy Elfick and Sean Cooper are very important to me. They are former England players, having played in the Premier League, Championship, and League One, and they understand the football culture here very well, knowing what the players are thinking. When I first arrived at Bournemouth, we didn't know each other well, but they have witnessed the entire growth process over the past three years. We have continuously improved the team and incorporated new ideas, and they have seen it all."

"So they are the best people to convey these ideas to the players and the club's existing coaching staff. They have been a great help to me, and sometimes their relationship with the players is even closer than mine. After all, as the head coach, there will always be a certain distance between me and the players, while assistant coaches are often more likely to get the players to open up."

Andoni Iraola also said, "They know when to give me feedback or when to screen information. Of course, there are also things that stay between them and the players without me having to tell them, and they do that very well."
