Chongqing Wolves player Daozai won the KPL Summer Split Regular Season Week 7 Player of the Week award.

The MVP of Week 7 of the 2026 KPL Summer Split Regular Season has been announced, and Daozai (Yang Kaibo), the development laner for the Chongqing Wolves, has won this honor for his outstanding performance this week. He maintained a stable output throughout the game and stepped up at crucial moments many times, helping the Chongqing Wolves secure their first victory since returning to Group S, injecting strong momentum into the team's pursuit of a higher ranking.  

In this week's matches, Daozai demonstrated an exceptionally deep hero pool, skillfully employing both highly mobile ranged heroes and stationary marksmen who rely on sustained damage. During the laning phase, he continuously expanded his advantage thanks to his solid fundamentals and meticulous execution. In team fights, he relied on precise positioning, calm judgment, and consistent damage output to help his team control the game's tempo at crucial moments on multiple occasions.  

As the core player of the Chongqing Wolves' development lane, Daozai not only maintains a stable competitive state but also possesses excellent game reading ability. He can quickly perceive changes in the battle situation, accurately grasp the timing of output, and continuously generate damage while ensuring his own safety, providing a constant source of firepower support for the Wolves' offense.  

In this week's competition, Daozai successively used three marksman heroes: Cang, Ailin, and Aoyin. Whether it was Cang relying on high mobility to constantly kite and output damage, Ailin using flexible movement to find space in team fights, or Aoyin's playstyle that combines burst damage and sustained kills, he was able to master them all skillfully, playing a key role in different tactical systems and demonstrating a deep hero pool and all-round competitive strength.  

Based on his consistently high-level performance this week, Daozai was successfully selected as the best player of the seventh week of the 2026 KPL Summer Split regular season. This honor not only reflects his excellent individual competitive state, but also fully affirms his decisive performance in key matches and the important role he plays as the core of the team.
