Jesse Bissiu joins Barcelona: My dream has finally come true

Eighteen-year-old winger Jesse Bissiou joined La Liga giants Barcelona at the end of last month. In an interview, Bissiou said he was very grateful for the warm welcome he received and that his dream had come true.

Jesse Bissiou, from Belgium, previously played for Club Brugge and was part of the club's youth team.

"The first few days here have been wonderful," said Jesse Bissiou. "It's like a big family. Everyone has been so welcoming, and I'm really grateful. Everyone has been so kind to me, and I feel right at home."

"Coming here and seeing all this with my own eyes is a completely different feeling. I'm really happy to be here. I've dreamed of playing for a club like Barcelona since I was a child, and now my dream has finally come true."

Speaking about Barcelona coach Flick, Jesse Bissiou said, "Coach Flick welcomed me very much. We have talked a few times, and he made it very clear to me what I need to do this season: train hard, keep learning, and improve myself as much as possible."

In addition, Barcelona will continue their preparations for the new La Liga season with a friendly match against Nottingham Forest.
