The 2026 UEFA Super Cup will be held at the Red Bull Stadium, where Premier League side Aston Villa will face Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain. At a press conference, Unai Emery stated that while his opponents are considered title favorites, he urged his team not to become complacent.

For French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, Enrique's team defeated Arsenal 4-3 on penalties in the Champions League final, successfully defending their title.
