Watford and Mark Barra have finalized a contract extension, extending the deal until 2030.

Watford have officially announced that they have reached a contract extension agreement with Mark Bora, offering him a new three-year deal. The full-back will remain with Watford until June 2030. He recently scored a brilliant winning goal in Saturday's League Cup match against Crawley Town, and his consistent performances last season have earned him the club's trust.  

Mark Bora said in an interview with Watford's official media: "I am very happy to stay at Watford and I am grateful to the club for extending my contract. There is still a lot to be done, both for me personally and for the team as a whole."  

“I will give my all, no matter where I am, as long as the team needs me. I have always been committed to this team and I am very much looking forward to the new Championship season.”  

Last season, Mark Bora joined Watford from Samsunspor in Turkey. In his first season with the club, he gradually established himself with consistent performances. He made 39 appearances in all competitions, demonstrating strong attacking power on the wing. His excellent passing and crossing abilities also contributed significantly to the team's attack, earning him recognition from the club.  

On the offensive end, Mark Bora provided three assists last season and scored against Bristol City and Wrexham. His goal against Bristol City was particularly impressive. He received a precise long pass from Imran Luza, controlled the ball firmly, and calmly slotted it into the net. This brilliant goal was ultimately named Watford's Goal of the Month for November and earned him the club's Skechers Goal of the Month award.  

Following his contract extension, 28-year-old Mark Bora will continue to play for Watford in the Championship and will remain with the team for the remainder of the season. The club congratulated him on his successful contract extension and hopes the full-back can maintain his excellent form and continue to play an important role in future matches, providing further support to the team.
