Grizzlies' all-time top five rebounders: Marc Gasol tops the list with 5,942 rebounds.

The Memphis Grizzlies were founded in 1995. While the team has yet to reach the NBA Finals, it has produced many outstanding interior players throughout its history. Below are the Grizzlies' top five rebounders in franchise history:

 

1. Marc Gasol ( 5942 rebounds)

Marc Gasol played 11 seasons with the Grizzlies , averaging 7.7 rebounds per game. The three- time All-Star center was a key pillar of the team's defensive system and frequently finished opponents' offensive possessions by grabbing defensive rebounds.

 

2. Zach Randolph ( 5612 rebounds)

Randolph formed a formidable frontcourt partnership with Marc Gasol for the Grizzlies, playing eight seasons in Memphis . During his time with the Grizzlies, he averaged over 20 points per game twice and had five seasons with double-digit rebounds.

 

3. Pau Gasol ( 4096 rebounds)

Pau Gasol played seven seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies , averaging 18.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2002 and made his first All-Star appearance in 2006. After being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2008 , he won two consecutive NBA championships with the team.

 

4. Shareef Abdul - Rahim ( 3070 rebounds)

Abdul - Rahim played five seasons with the Vancouver Grizzlies and was an important player in the team's early years. In the 1999-00 season, he averaged 10.1 rebounds per game, setting a career high for a single season.

 

5. Rudy Gay ( 2758 rebounds)

Gay played seven seasons with the Grizzlies , appearing in 479 games and averaging 5.8 rebounds per game. As an athletic forward, Gay was able to contribute scoring, playmaking, defense, and rebounding during his time in Memphis, providing a well-rounded contribution to the team on both ends of the court.
