The Los Angeles Clippers, since their founding in 1970, have gone through three phases: Buffalo, San Diego, and Los Angeles, and have produced many outstanding interior players throughout their history. Below are the top five rebounders in Clippers history:
1. DeAndre Jordan ( 7988 rebounds)
DeAndre Jordan was selected by the Clippers in the second round of the 2008 NBA draft. He played for the team for 10 seasons in his professional career, forming the " Lob City " frontcourt duo with Blake Griffin . During his time with the Clippers, he averaged 10.7 rebounds per game, reaching 15.2 in 2014 , and was selected as an All-Star in 2017 .
2. Ivica Zubac ( 4771 rebounds)
After three seasons with the Lakers, Zubac joined the Clippers, where he spent the next eight seasons. During that time, he averaged 6.3 rebounds per game, reaching his career rebounding peak in the 2024-25 season with 12.6 rebounds per game , including 8.9 defensive rebounds. Before the 2026 trade deadline, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers.
3. Elton Brand ( 4710 rebounds)
Brand was the number one overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft . His career reached a pivotal point after he was traded to the Clippers in 2001. He played seven seasons with the Clippers , averaging 6.4 rebounds per game and being selected to the All-Star team twice. In the 2005 All-Star season, he also finished in the top ten for Defensive Player of the Year.
4. Blake Griffin ( 4686 rebounds )
The Clippers selected Blake Griffin with the first overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. After missing his rookie season due to injury, he won the Rookie of the Year award in his first season back and was selected to the All-Star team five times. Griffin played eight seasons with the Clippers , averaging 9.3 rebounds per game, with an average of 12.1 rebounds per game in 2010 .
5. Loy Waters ( 4471 rebounds)
Watt was selected 13th overall in the first round of the 1990 NBA draft by the Clippers. He played for the team for eight seasons, averaging 8.0 rebounds per game. He reached his rebounding peak in the 1995-96 season, averaging 10.1 rebounds per game.
