Iñigo Perez: Our goal is to maintain our preseason form and strive for victory while continuously improving.

With the new La Liga season about to kick off, Villarreal manager Iñigo Pérez gave an interview to the media, discussing various aspects including the team's preseason preparations, coaching experience, personnel, and young players. Facing the upcoming first round of the league, Iñigo Pérez believes the team should continue to implement the game strategy developed during the preseason, maintaining their progress while launching an attack on Racing Santander, aiming for a winning start to the season.  

Looking back on his first month in charge, Inigo Pérez believes it was a very rewarding experience. As he familiarized himself with the club, he began to communicate his football philosophy to the players and helped the team gradually adapt to the new system. He stated, "It was a very positive month; we made significant progress in many areas."  

"The most important thing at this stage is to integrate into the team as soon as possible, and I am very grateful for everyone's support and welcome. From a football perspective, it takes time to build a new system, and we also appreciate the players' willingness to cooperate in training and their openness to our working methods."
