Shanghai EDG.M player Xia Ling achieved his 1500th assist in his KPL professional career.

The 2026 KPL Summer Playoffs continued with a high-intensity match between Shanghai EDG.M and Beijing WB. In the seventh game, Shanghai EDG.M player Xia Ling (Zhang Shuhui) played the role of Yuanliu Zhizi (Tank) and contributed a crucial assist with excellent teamwork. With this assist, Xia Ling officially unlocked his 1500th assist in his KPL career, reaching another important milestone in his professional career.

With the match entering its seventh game, the contest between Shanghai EDG.M and Beijing WB had reached a crucial moment that would determine the outcome. After several back-and-forth battles in the previous games, the situation on the field had become increasingly tense, with each team fight and contest for key resources potentially becoming a turning point in the game. Xia Ling chose the tank "Child of the Flow" as the frontline, proactively initiating team fights and scouting vision, absorbing a significant amount of damage for his teammates, and using crowd control skills to restrict the opponent's movement, creating a more favorable environment for his team to deal damage.

As the match entered its second half, Xia Ling continued to participate in Shanghai EDG.M's offensive and defensive transitions, playing a crucial role in numerous team plays and ultimately achieving his 1500th assist in his KPL career. For players who emphasize teamwork, the number of assists directly reflects their level of involvement in the game, and this milestone reflects Xia Ling's experience and contributions accumulated over many years of professional competition.

As a core member of the Shanghai EDG.M team, Xia Ling not only needs to perform individual skills but also shoulders the responsibility of coordinating the team's rhythm and assisting teammates in team fights. In the early game, he needs to help the team establish an advantage through roaming and timely support; in the mid-to-late game, he needs to protect the core damage dealers based on the changing situation, creating a stable combat environment for the team. His choice of the Elemental Child (tank) further demonstrates his adaptability to different lineup systems and tactical arrangements.

Reaching 1500 assists in his KPL career is not just a number for Xia Ling, but a microcosm of his many years of professional journey. From arriving on the battlefield in time time time and time again to completing precise cooperation with his teammates, these details in the game have finally converged into this milestone. Achieving 1500 assists on the highly competitive stage of the playoffs makes this personal achievement even more memorable.

Congratulations to Shanghai EDG.M player Xia Ling (Zhang Shuhui) on reaching the milestone of 1500 assists in his KPL career! From seamless teamwork to timely support in crucial moments, this achievement embodies his long-term hard work and accumulation in the professional arena. We look forward to Xia Ling continuing to leverage his strengths in future matches, fighting alongside Shanghai EDG.M, facing new challenges in the fierce playoffs, and creating many more memorable moments!
