Benzema's early termination of his contract with Al-Hilal may mark the end of his professional career.

Al-Hilal announced on Monday that it has terminated the contract of French star Karim Benzema a year early. According to L'Equipe, Al-Hilal will settle Benzema's remaining salary in full.
As one of the best center forwards of our time, Benzema played for Lyon, Real Madrid, and Union Jeddah. During this period, he won four Ligue 1 titles, one Coupe de France, two French Super Cups, five UEFA Champions League titles, five FIFA Club World Cups, four La Liga titles, four UEFA Super Cups, three Copa del Rey titles, three Spanish Super Cups, one Saudi Liga d'Affaires title, and one Saudi Cup. He also won numerous individual honors, including a Ballon d'Or and four FIFA World Player of the Year awards.
In February of this year, Benzema joined Al-Hilal on a free transfer. To date, he has made 16 appearances for Al-Hilal, contributing 10 goals and 5 assists, and won the Saudi Cup with the team.
After confirming his departure, Benzema bid farewell to Al-Hilal on social media: "A chapter has come to an end..."
