Bruno Fernandes admitted he hopes to continue his good performance and score another 3 points in the next game.

Bruno Fernandes, representing Portugal in their match against Norway, stated that the team must continue on the right track from their previous three UEFA Nations League games. At the pre-match press conference at the Estádio do Dragão, the national team captain discussed the team's progress under Jorge Jesus, the challenge posed by Norway, and Portugal's goal of advancing to the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals.

Regarding the home win against Denmark, Bruno Fernandes said, "Those three points were very important to us and a crucial achievement in the team's progress. Hopefully, we can continue this performance and get another three points in the next game to get closer to our goal."

When discussing Jorge Jesus's performance since taking over, Bruno Fernandes did not compare him to Fernando Santos or Roberto Martinez, but instead emphasized how quickly the team has adapted to the new coach's philosophy. He said, "The most important thing at this stage is that we have very quickly understood and absorbed the head coach's ideas, and have also responded quickly to his requirements, especially on the defensive end, where our execution has been very fast."

Having previously played under Jorge Jesus, Bruno Fernandes is very familiar with the coach's requirements and game strategy. He stated that the adjustments suggested by the coach at halftime in the previous match against Denmark significantly improved his performance in the second half.

He said, "I've known the head coach before and played under him. He helped me reach the top of Portuguese football. I know his coaching style very well. Working with him requires a lot of commitment and sometimes you have to accept his harsh criticism. Some criticism is correct, but not every criticism is reasonable."

"For us, the key is to fully understand the head coach's ideas and to adopt different approaches for different games. Only in this way can we maintain variety and make our opponents unpredictable."

As the press conference drew to a close, Bruno Fernandes spoke again about the match against Norway and expressed his hope that Portugal could achieve another victory at the Estádio do Dragão. He said, "An artist always has some special skills left. So, we will come here tomorrow to try to bring joy to the Portuguese people again. The team has many talented players, all of whom are capable of creating wonderful moments at any time during the game."

“We’ve played many important matches here, and the results have always been good. As far as I can remember, in our last few visits here, we’ve successfully secured qualification for the European Championship, the World Cup, or the next stage. Hopefully, this time we can achieve the same positive result.”
