Lennart Carr will unfortunately miss this World Cup due to a torn muscle fiber in his left thigh.

After missing the World Cup due to injury, Bayern Munich announced that it will provide full support to young player Lennart Karl to help him recover and return to the field as soon as possible.

The 18-year-old player suffered a torn muscle fiber in his left thigh during training in the United States, ultimately forcing him to withdraw from the World Cup. This is undoubtedly a heavy blow for both the player and the team as a whole.

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl said: "It is certainly a very painful thing to miss the World Cup at the last stage, and the news has shaken the entire club. But this does not change the fact that Lennart Karl has outstanding talent, strong fighting spirit and huge potential. He is fully qualified to be on the World Cup stage because his performance in his first full season as a professional player has been outstanding."

“He will receive full support at Bayern Munich, and we will help him recover as soon as possible and return to the pitch. We all know that he still has many important matches to play in the future. He himself has also begun to look to the future and said that he will return in stronger condition. This is what I admire most about him, and it is the most important mentality at times like these.”

Lennart Karl made his German national team debut in March, coming on as a substitute in the 4-3 victory against Switzerland, and has since made three appearances for the national team. He was originally included in Germany's squad for this World Cup, a squad that includes seven Bayern Munich players, including Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Jonathan Tah, Jamal Musiala, and Aleksandar Pavlović.
