Knicks head coach emphasizes key adjustments: Towns must be more involved in the offensive system.

June 10th - According to ESPN, after losing Game 3 of the NBA Finals, New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown made it clear that the team must give Karl-Anthony Towns more touches on offense, especially in the crucial fourth quarter.

“It’s very important to get him involved more on the offense, not just in the fourth quarter, but throughout the whole game,” Brown said after practice. “I need to continue to find ways to better integrate him into the offensive system and make an impact in crucial moments.”

In this game, Towns went 0-for-4 in the final quarter, including two three-point attempts, scoring only 11 points in total. Although he continued to contribute consistently in rebounding, defense, and rim protection, his offensive stagnation caused the Knicks to lose their rhythm in the final stages.

Brown pointed out that the team's slowed offensive pace, insufficient ball movement, and hesitant decision-making were the main reasons for their collapse in the fourth quarter. He emphasized that the team needs faster ball movement and more decisive offensive choices.
