In the first round of Group B matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Canada, one of the host nations, hosted Bosnia and Herzegovina at the BMO Stadium. After 90 minutes of intense play, the two sides ultimately drew 1-1.

After this match, Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina each have one point. Canada also earned its first-ever World Cup point, ending its previous record of six consecutive losses.

After the start of the first half, both teams traded attacks and defenses. In the 3rd minute, a free kick from Bosnia and Herzegovina caused chaos in the opponent's penalty area, and Amar Memic's shot went over the crossbar.
