Reece James, making his World Cup debut, says he's ready to give his all for England.

England will face a formidable Croatia in their opening Group L match of the 2026 World Cup. England defender Reece James stated that he has been working hard to prepare for his World Cup debut and will give his all for the "Three Lions."

In last week's friendly match, England secured a 3-0 victory over Costa Rica thanks to goals from Rice, Gordon, and Watkins, thus making their way into the World Cup.

Chelsea captain Reece James said in an interview, "As everyone says, timing is really important, and I've missed several major tournaments. I've been working hard to prepare for this World Cup and to be in the best possible condition for the competition, and I will give my all for my country."
