Real Madrid announced on their official website on Wednesday that Manchester City's legendary Portugal attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva will join the club on a free transfer.
According to Real Madrid's official statement, Silva has signed on a short-term two-year contract which will only run until the summer of 2028.
It's worth mentioning that rumours of Silva's seemingly impending move to Barcelona had been circulating for months, and the speed with which its arch-rivals Real Madrid swiftly and quietly snatched him away is truly astonishing.
