Venezia completes the signing of Lech Poznań's young winger Kornel Lisman..

Venezia announced on their official website on Sunday that they have signed Lech Poznań's Poland U20s international winger Kornel Lisman.

According to Venezia's official statement, Lisman has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030, with an option to extend for a further year.

After completing the transfer his procedures, Lisman, who was interviewed by the Venezia official website for the first time, said: "I decided to join Venezia because they have been following me for a year, which impressed me deeply. I am honored by the trust that Director Antonelli placed in me, and he gave me a detailed introduction to the club and its future development plans."

"For me, coming here is a fantastic opportunity and an honuor. Venezia is a great club with passionate fans and a very enthusiastic atmosphere in the stadium. Even when the team loses, I see the fans' strong support, which deeply moves me. I really love this project and feel that it suits me perfectly. To the fans, I just want to say that I will give my all on the pitch and fight for the team until the very last moment. See you on the pitch!"

Furthermore, according to Sky Sports Italia, the newly promoted Serie A club paid Lech Poznań €2 million to sign Lisman.

About Kornel Lisman

Lisman, who is only still 20 years old, was born on February 20, 2006, in Szczecin, Poland. He is 1.86 meters tall and primarily plays as a left winger, but can also play as a right winger.

Lisman played in the youth academy of his hometown club, Pogoń Szczecin, before joining Lech Poznań's youth academy in 2022. He began playing for their reserve team the following year and completed his Lech Poznań first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in September 2024.

During his two-year spell at Lech Poznań, Lisman made 33 appearances for Kolejorz in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist, winning the Polish Ekstraklasa title twice with the club.
