Real Sociedad officially bought out ownership of Japan U20s international defender Kazunari Kita..


Real Sociedad announced on their official website on Tuesday that they have officially bought out the rights of on-loan Japan U20s international defender Kazunari Kita from Kyoto Sanga.


According to Real Sociedad's official statement, Kita has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs unil the summer of 2030.


About Kazunari Kita


Kazunari Kita, who is only still 20 years old was born on September 16, 2000, in Kyoto, Japan. He is 1.89 meters tall and plays as a center-back.


Kita joined Kyoto Sanga's youth academy at the age of 13 and completed his  Kyoto Sanga first-team debut in a J-League Cup match against Gamba Osaka in March 2023.


During his two-and-a-half-year spell at Kyoto Sanga, his outstanding performances led local Japanese sports media to name him one of the most promising young players in J1 League and Japanese football.


In the summer of 2025, Kita joined Real Sociedad on loan, primarily playing for their B-team.


Last season, Kita made 31 appearances for the La Liga club's B team in all competitions, without scoring or assisting.
