Valencia have announced the signing of Justin De Haas, with a contract running until 2030.

Valencia CF have officially confirmed the signing of Dutch centre-back Justin de Haas, with both parties agreeing to a long-term contract until 2030. Born on February 1, 2000, in Zaandam, Netherlands, he joined Valencia as a free agent after his contract with Famalicão expired, signing a four-year deal. Since joining Famalicão in 2023, de Haas has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Portuguese league thanks to his consistent and outstanding performances.

Justin de Haas, 26, is a left-footed center-back with excellent passing ability, capable of orchestrating attacks from the back and providing a reliable outfield option on the left flank. He is equally reliable defensively. Standing at 1.94 meters tall, possessing a strong physique and refined footwork, he has all the qualities required of a modern center-back, further enhancing Valencia's defensive solidity, balance, and attacking prowess.

In the 2025/26 Portuguese Primeira Liga season, Famalicão ultimately finished fifth, with Justin de Haas playing a crucial role as the team's defensive linchpin. He made 33 league appearances, starting every single one and playing the full 90 minutes. Furthermore, the Dutch center-back contributed 6 goals, demonstrating not only defensive solidity but also prowess from set pieces and his ability to finish in the box, making him a key scoring option for the team.

Justin de Haas was selected for the Dutch youth national teams at various levels, representing the U16, U17 and U18 teams. During his development, he received training in the youth systems of clubs such as AZ Alkmaar, PSV Eindhoven and Dinamo Zagreb, before joining Lokomotiv Zagreb, where he made his professional debut.
