Arsenal have officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Iran Melier.

Arsenal Football Club officially announced today the signing of experienced French goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

The arrival of this 26-year-old powerful goalkeeper will further strengthen Arsenal's goalkeeping depth ahead of the new season. Melier's professional career began in the youth academy of Lorient in Ligue 1, and he made his senior team debut at the age of 18.

During his seven seasons with Leeds United, Melier made a total of 215 appearances in all competitions and kept 70 clean sheets, including 107 appearances in the Premier League top flight. He was an excellent goalkeeper with both skill and experience.
