Real Betis officially announce the signing of Real Madrid left-back Fran García..

Real Betis announced on their official website on Thursday that they have signed Spain international left-back Fran García from Real Madrid.

According to Real Betis' official statement, García has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.

About Fran García

The 26-year-old García was born on August 14, 1999, in Bolaños de Calatrava, Spain. He is 1.69 meters tall and plays as a left-back.

García joined the youth academy of his hometown club Bolaños at the age of 10. In 2013, he joined Real Madrid's renowned La Fabrica youth academy, started playing for its B team in September 2018 before completing his Real Madrid first-team debut in December of the same year by coming on as a substitute in a Copa del Rey match.

In September 2020, García was loaned-out to Rayo Vallecano. After helping the team achieve promotion, Rayo Vallecano immediately triggered Garcia's buy-out clause.

In the summer of 2023, Real Madrid triggered Garcia's €5 million buy-back clause to re-sign him.

During his time at Real Madrid, Garcia made 109 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 13 assists, during which he won one La Liga title, one Supercopa de España, one UEFA Champions League title, one UEFA Super Cup, and one FIFA Club World Cup with the team.
