Counter Strike 2: MIBR fired Academy team's In-Game Leader stormzyn over controversial in-game interaction..

Brazilian Counter Strike 2 (CS2) club MIBR announced on Thursday via its official X (Twitter) account, that they had fired its Academy team's In-Game Leader stormzyn.

According to MIBR's official statement, after an internal investigation and discussion, the club decided to "dismiss a player for inappropriate in-game behavior," a measure that will "reinforce the club's commitment to the values and code of conduct guiding all its members both on and off competitions."

While MIBR did not explicitly identify stormzyn in its statement, public opinion suggests his identity is quite clear.

This controversial incident occurred during a match between MIBR and METANOIA Wolves in the Thunderpick World Championship South America Season 2.

At the time, stormzyn interacted with a doll on the ground in the Cache map by moving it back and forth, immediately sparking huge controversy. This action was considered offensive and potentially implying pedophilia or sexually suggestive of child molestation.

However, despite apologizing to MIBR for his actions, stormzyn refuses to admit wrongdoing, insisting it was an impromptu act. He even brazenly stated that even if the object had become a lifeless corpse, he would still have performed the same interaction "to celebrate victory."

He defended himself, saying, "I was just celebrating, so I did whatever I wanted. I didn't think about anything disgusting; I hate pedophilia. I stand firmly against any form of violence and prejudice."

"I'm really sad because many people have been lying about me. I sincerely apologize to MIBR. I never imagined it would end this way."

The 22-year-old stormzyn is formerly a ace coach and player for w7m (the predecessor to Fluxo) and joined the MIBR Academy in early 2025.

During his time with the Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team, stormzyn completed 198 maps, achieving an average individual rating of 1.09. He also helped the team achieve a runner-up finish in CCT South America Challenger #1.
