Troyes officially announced the signing of Australian goalkeeper Patrick Beach on a five-year contract.

French Ligue 1 newcomers Troyes announced on Sunday that Australian goalkeeper Patrick Beach has joined the club from Melbourne City. The two sides signed a five-year contract, valid until June 30, 2031.

The 22-year-old Beech developed through the youth academies of Glenmore Park, Druid Hill Rangers, and Central Coast Mariners, and made his professional debut for Melbourne City on October 19, 2024. To date, he has made 64 appearances for Melbourne City, keeping 24 clean sheets, and has won an A-League title with the team.

Thanks to his outstanding performance at the club level, Beach has become a member of the Australian national team to compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. He also played a crucial role in the World Cup campaign, making significant contributions to the Socceroos' advancement to the final 32.

After completing the transfer, Beach bid a heartfelt farewell to Melbourne City, where he had played for three seasons: "The three years I spent at Melbourne City had a profound impact on me, both as a player and as a person."
