League of Legends: Former inVictusGaming (iG) top laner Chen Chen (ID: Breathe) officially joins Anyone's Legend (AL)..

AG Esports announced on Wednesday via its official Weibo account that former inVictusGaming (iG) top laner Chen Chen (ID: Breathe), has officially joined their League of Legends team, Anyone's Legend (AL).

According to Sheep Esports, Chen Chen's transfer is likely related to a chain reaction triggered by changes in top laners within the Chinese League of Legends esports scene.

Recently, former Bilibili Esports (BLG) top laner Chen Zebin (ID: Bin), decided to temporarily leave the team for a break.

Yang Wenbo (ID: Wenbo), a player from the Academy, was immediately promoted back to the main team to fill the vacancy left by Zebin's departure.

Chen Chen is likely to replace Li Xuanjun (ID: Flandre) as AL's new starting top laner.

While there's no reliable confirmation yet that suggest Xuanjun will be relegated to the bench, rumours allege he might transfer to Bilibili Gaming (BLG), with negotiations reportedly in their final stages.

iG previously finished in the LPL Split 2, losing to TT Esports and only managing a top-12 finish, leading to Chen Chen's relegation to the bench.

Anyone's Legend (AL) progress has stalled in recent months. Despite winning the LPL championship last year and reaching the quarterfinals of the League of Legends World Championship, AL missed out on both international finals this year, which may be the reason for their decision to bring in the more experienced Chen Chen.

The 25-year-old Chen Chen previously played for Oh My God (OMG) Esports, Weibo Esports (WBG), and BLG, boasting six years of LPL experience and having participated in the League of Legends World Championship finals twice.

Chen Chen transferred from WBG to inVictusGaming (iG) in March of this year.

During this spell, besides participating in the LPL with the team, he also participated in the Esports World Cup China Qualifiers, but only managed to reach the top 6 due to a loss to BLG.

After this adjustment, the new starting lineup for the AL League of Legends team is as follows:
