Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a victory in their first official pre-season friendly, defeating Maidenhead United 1-0 away from home. After the match, Spanish defender Hugo Bueno stated that the team has moved on from last season's disappointments and is adjusting with a more positive mindset to prepare for the upcoming season.  

Speaking about the team's new look, Hugo Bueno said, "The new season means a new beginning. We've left the past behind, and now everyone starts from the same point. Completing 45 minutes of playing time is very helpful for recovering form and improving physical fitness. I enjoyed the process. Although the game was tough, the overall feeling was very good."

There is another game next Saturday, and we must continue to stay focused and work hard to improve."
