Premier League star Jack Harrison joins New England Revolution

Major League Soccer (MLS) New England Revolution officially announced the signing of 29-year-old English winger Jack Harrison from Premier League side Leeds United.

The two parties have finalized a designated player (DP) contract valid until the 2029-30 season and are currently awaiting approval of the relevant visas and transfer documents.

Harrison boasts an 11-year career in top-flight leagues, spanning the Premier League, Serie A, and MLS. He played for several teams including New York City FC, Leeds United, Everton, and Fiorentina in Serie A, making over 375 appearances and contributing 54 goals and 50 assists.

As a left-footed winger, Harrison is a veteran of the Premier League, having made 181 appearances and directly contributed to 45 goals. During his time at Leeds United, he helped the team win the Championship title and return to the Premier League in a single season. In the first half of 2026, while on loan at Fiorentina in Serie A, he made 22 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists.

It's worth mentioning that Harrison was selected by New York City FC as the number one overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. After making a name for himself in MLS, he moved to Europe. Regarding his return to the land where his professional career began, Harrison expressed great enthusiasm in an interview: "After considering all the options, choosing to return to MLS and join the New England Revolution is the decision that best suits my wishes. It perfectly matches all my expectations."
