Liverpool's Hungary international goalkeeper wonderkid Ármin Pécsi to join Hartberg on-loan..

Liverpool announced on their official website on Sunday that Hungary international goalkeeper wonderkid Ármin Pécsi will join Hartberg on-loan.

According to Liverpool's official statement, Pécsi will play for the Austrian Bundesliga club on-loan until the end of the new season, and the loan agreement does not include any option to buy.

About Ármin Pécsi

Ármin Pécsi, who is only still 21 years old , was born on February 24, 2005, in Hainburg an der Donau, Austria. He is 1.90 meters tall, plays as a goalkeeper and holds dual Austrian and Hungarian citizenship.

Pécsi, who has been a Liverpool fan since childhood, immigrated to Hungary at the age of three. He joined the Győr youth academy at age six, and in 2017, moved to the Puskás Akadémia youth academy, began playing for its reserve team in 2021 and was promoted to the first-team the following July.

In July 2023, Pécsi was loaned-to to Csákvár, where he earned praise for his impressive performances.

In late December of the same year, due to injuries to several goalkeepers, Pécsi was urgently recalled and made his Puskás Akadémia first-team debut in February 2024.

During his year-and-a-half spell at Puskás Akadémia, Pécsi was nominated for the Golden Boy Award once for his outstanding performances.

In the summer of 2025, Pécsi joined Liverpool for £2 million.

Last season, Pécsi made 17 appearances for the Premier League giants' U21s team in all competitions, conceding 32 goals and keeping 4 clean sheets.
